Get in touch with our team in Sighthill if your vehicle is due for its annual MOT test – we carry out both Class 4 (cars, small vans and passenger vehicles up to 12 seats) and Class 7 tests (commercial vehicles and vans between 3,000 and 3,500kg).

A valid MOT test certificate becomes a legal requirement to drive on UK roads once a vehicle is three years old. This certificate must be renewed annually, and the annual test must be carried out by a garage authorised to do so by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency.

• Windscreen wipers

If your car should fail its MOT test, our team has all the specialist tools and equipment needed to correct or fix what caused the failure and carry out a retest. At Edinburgh Car Services we also provide an advisory service, alerting you to things that may need to be looked at before the next test in 12 months’ time. Your test can be carried out up to one month before the expiry date.
